This was a commissioned beach based on Taryn's piece, "Beach Boss." It's about being on the verge of something great and features Perry Jones IV, hence "Jonesing (for the future)." She used sculpted modeling paste over glazed silver leafing for the water, sand for the sand, oil for the figure, and layers of modeling & crackle pastes for the sky. It has an all-American feel to it and compliments "The New American Dream" well - In color and in subject matter/mood- Almost as if it is the "grown up" version.
