I flew over to Kauai last week to capture an incoming XL swell that was on the radar. I have a couple of specific shots in mind that I didn't quite get but I DID score a couple nice images I hope you like.
Scored my second heart! Can you see it in the splash there? Couldn't be more appropriate for this location, I could (and did) sit here for days just watching the huge waves collide with one another. This was taken in Ha'ena State Park at the end of the road on the north shore past Hanalei. It's a must do when you're over there, just make sure to get your reservations ahead of time!

Same glorious location, different day! This happened right in front of me, two waves came in from opposite directions parallel to the beach, exploding 20' or more into the air.
